The 2009 Girls Northwest College Soccer Showcase will be held at Bainbridge High School in Bainbridge Island, WA on the
weekend of January 10th and 11th.

This premier event offers a unique opportunity for club and high school soccer players to participate in hands-on training with top college coaches and to demonstrate their skills and abilities.  Athletes will receive information on training, technique, strategy, NCAA academic eligibility, NCAA rules and regulations, scholarship availability and much more.

For 2009, we have added a complimentary clinic for high school and club coaches.
Sunday's  presentations will include area trainers, nutritionists, college eligibility information, and an open forum with the college coaches including a Q & A session.

College coaches will have the opportunity to work with and observe Washington's finest female soccer talent.  Coaches from throughout the Western states have been invited to come to Western Washington to see our players.

The primary purposes of the 2009 Girls Northwest College Showcase are:

  • To bring top college coaches to Western Washington to educate high school and club soccer players what college soccer programs (including all NCAA Divisions,  NAIA, Christian Colleges and Community Colleges) offer and what each expects and looks for in their players.

  • To provide vital information to parents and players on the college recruiting process, the rules and regulations of the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA, as well as federal financial aid information, academic requirements, NCAA Clearinghouse Registration requirements, and other critical issues important to a successful college transition.

  • To showcase Washington's soccer talent for the coaches consideration in building their future teams.

  • To provide players the opportunity to work directly with college coaches and become more informed about their future options and preferences.

  • To enhance communication and understanding for the common good of the players and the game.
